The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) Canberra and District Branch promotes Scottish country dancing and encourages the enjoyment of this social activity in Canberra and the surrounding districts.

The Branch is a not-for-profit organisation promoting Scottish Country Dance in the Canberra region by conducting classes and holding social events for dancers of all levels of experience. Members of the Branch are also members of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, a registered Scottish charity dedicated to promoting Scottish Country Dance. The RSCDS has a world-wide network of Branches and Affiliated Groups, with a small administrative team at its central office in Edinburgh; it exists to promote and develop Scottish Country Dancing worldwide for the benefit of present and future generations.

The Branch's classes are held in the hall at St Andrews Church, 1 State Circle, Forrest, Canberra.
