Canberra has a very active Scottish Country Dancing community (see our Clubs) and welcomes you to our website and, hopefully, in person to the national capital. 

We often have visitors from interstate or overseas, so if you are
visiting the Canberra region do pay us a visit.




CLASSES IN 2020

Regular Branch classes are held on Wednesdays 7.30-9.30pm
[No classes on 8July/10July as the hall is not available]

'Gentle Dancers' classes - Fridays 2.00-4.00pm

The above RSCDS Branch classes are held at
St Andrews Church Hall,
State Circle
Forrest

Young Dancers Socials
(
Branch classes for young people up to the age of 40)
will be held at North Canberra Baptist Church Hall, Condamine Street, Turner
on certain Saturday evenings in 2020. 
Dates available soon

The Scottish Country Dance Club of Canberra offers these classes and social dancing events:

  • A class for new and experienced dancers from 7.30 to 9.30pm on Thursday evenings.
  • The Black Mountain Reelers daytime class from 12.15 to 2.00pm every Tuesday, from 14 January 2020.
  • Social dancing - themed socials will be held at 7.30pm on the following Friday evenings:

    • 11 September
    • 23 October                   

All SCDCC classes are at
