Canberra has a very active Scottish Country Dancing community (see our Clubs) and welcomes you to our website and, hopefully, in person to the national capital. 

We often have visitors from interstate or overseas, so if you are
visiting the Canberra region do pay us a visit.




CLASSES IN 2021

RSCDS Canberra and District Branch classes will recommence from
3 February
2021
 

Regular Branch classes are held on Wednesdays 7.30-9.30pm

'Gentle Dancers' classes - Fridays 2.00-4.00pm

The above RSCDS Branch classes are held at
St Andrews Church Hall,
State Circle
Forrest

While Covid restrictions remain in place, all dancers attending Branch classes must comply with the Branch's Covid-19 Safety Plan and are required to complete and return a participant declaration confirming that they will observe all requirements of the safety plan.


Scottish Country Dance Club of Canberra classes will recommence from
19 January 2021

Black Mountain Reelers daytime class
offered by the SCDCC takes place
12.15 to 2.00pm every Tuesday

Thursday Social Classes in 2021 will be held on the
second Thursday of the month from February to November

Hall Pavilion, Gladstone Street, Hall
Picnic from 6.00pm, dancing commences around 7.30pm
Admission $20 / $10 aged under 30

register your attendance in advance.

30 Sep – 3 Oct 2021: 'Dance into Spring'
mini Winter School 2021

‘Dance into Spring’ will be held on the October long weekend,
with 3 days of dance classes, an evening social, and the
Annual Ball on Saturday 2 October.

Planning is in train for musicians’ workshops and other activities.
Further details coming soon.
N.B. Accommodation will not be included in the registration fee
and will need to be arranged independently by all participants
