21 February     Wednesday Branch Class with Visiting Teacher:  Zsófi József

7.30pm at St Andrew's Church Hall (normal Wednesday class time).  Zsófi has provided the following information about herself:

Welcome Everybody on the dance floor. My name is Zsófi József and I am originally from Budapest, Hungary. I have started Scottish Country Dancing in 2009 here in Budapest. We have a lovely enthusiastic group, who have lots of fun in dancing. I joined several times to the Summer School in St Andrews to learn more about dances and techniques. I started teaching soon in our local club and I ran twice the Beginners Course in Budapest. I also organised many dance events, in 2015 and 2017 I was one of the main organiser of our biannual International Weekend, which had more than 150 participants from all around the world.
I got my Teaching Certificate in 2017 and right now I am teaching in Koh Tao, Thailand in the local school 5-6 years old for dancing.
2017 is a very special year in my life as I got married with my lovely husband, Phill Jones, whose accordion playing is just makes everybody dance! We are both looking forward a lot to meet with you on 21 February 2018 in Canberra, while we are on our extended Honeymoon around the world!
